Changes to CCRAS services due to Level 5 COVID-19 Restrictions
While Dublin has Level 5 COVID-19 Restrictions in place, we have had to suspend all of our face-to-face group activities.
The following groups have gone online:

Alcohol Education and Support Programme (with Rialto Community Drug Team)

SMART Recovery Group
-
Women’s Recovery Group
The Tuesday Night Drug-free Drop-in is suspended until Dublin reverts to Level 2, or we are informed by the public health authorities that groups can resume.
All of our face-to-face support work with individuals continues.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic Crisis FRONTLINE are offering the following services from Kavanagh House:
• Support over the phone from Monday to Friday 10am to 3.30 to anyone with substance use issues including drugs and alcohol, including assessments, crisis intervention and key-working sessions
• The provision of takeaway meals from Monday to Friday clients who regularly attend Frontline services
• Telephone counselling
• Instagram video learning/play/cooking
• Aftercare, family support, parenting support, art therapy support and support to prisoners on release (and to their families), as much as these can be provided by phone and online.

The vision and mission of the Rialto Community Drug Team is to provide a space and a place where a spirit of welcome, compassion, trust, healing and community is experienced on the journey towards wellness.
During the COVID-19 Pandemic Crisis RCDT are offering the following services:
• Methadone clinic is still operating three days per week (Monday afternoon, Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning) for registered clients
• Over the phone key-working sessions, crisis intervention and relapse prevention
• Prison links support
• Family support
• Homeless advice
• RCDT Alcohol Programme are still accepting referrals, providing one to one support and video online group work and family support

The Community Lynks Project is a Community Employment Scheme that works with people to re-integrate them back into the community through education and employment.
The Community Lynks Project has put in place measures to ensure contact with clients while COVID-19 protocols are in place. There are:
• Group work sessions with both Progression and Drug Free groups through social media apps like zoom.
• One to one key-working and advocacy is undertaken by Project Workers with clients throughout the week, this is not appointment based, rather when the need arises by phone.
• Clients are also offered training and education online and through the postal system in order to be upskilled and to use this time to their advantage.
