COVID LOCKDOWN
Sitting here because of Corona
On your own but not alonea’
Send a text or write a letter
A few short words will help you feel better
Play a record or watch a movie
Listen to the Radio to feel a bit groovy
Just washing your hands can save your life
So can staying away from your neighbours Wife
At this time the country’s in lockdown
Out on the streets it’s like a ghost town
This virus won’t last forever
But it will get worse before it gets better
Covid-19 can be a killer that can’t be seen
And anyone can get it
From the homeless to the Queen
